Alexandra Truppe MBA, CMC, a native of Carinthia, has been appointed by the CIC Board of Directors as the new Managing Director of the Carinthian International Center and CIC Service GmbH as of 1 October 2021.
Alexandra Truppe has many years of international experience in various countries and industries. She has been particularly involved in creating framework conditions that enable the education and training of professionals at a high level. Ms Truppe also worked for several years as a self-employed management consultant and has professional experience as a division manager at Ibis Acam, as a project partner for the project "Mentoring for Migrants", as well as several years of international management experience in the catering and hotel industry.
Her professional career led her from England to the USA, and finally to Bermuda and now back to Carinthia.
"Alexandra Truppe was able to convince us with her profound expertise, wealth of international experience and strategic considerations for the successful continuation of the path the Carinthian International Center has taken so far," says Michael Marketz, Chairman of the Board, explaining the decision.
"I am looking forward to my new tasks at the CIC and to supporting and accompanying the internationals with our comprehensive service and network offers in the best possible way during their arrival and thus helping to shape Carinthia's attractiveness for employers and employees. My goal is to further expand the activities, enter into cooperations and use synergies with comparable organisations," says Alexandra Truppe.
"On behalf of the entire Board team, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the previous Managing Director Rosalia Kopeinig for her tireless commitment to the CIC. We are pleased that she will continue to support us as an external advisor," says Michael Marketz.
Rosalia Kopeinig was one of the co-founders of the association and the limited liability company and led them for more than 12 years as managing director with objective clarity and great imperturbability despite many headwinds. She has always related and connected the many different motives and motivations that come together in the association as well as in society with appreciation. The Executive Board and the General Assembly would like to thank her very much indeed for this.
